In Paulina The Piglet Book 8 Illustration 1 shows Tommy and Tina’s Mom Marie answering the phone in horror after finding out her mother was in the hospital and was diagnosed with Cancer. Illustration 5 shows Marie visiting her mom in the hospital. Her mother told Marie not to worry because she was a cancer survivor and had already beaten it once and she was confident that she would beat it again. Marie’s Mother was very Strong and normally healthy with a very strong and positive attitude. It made Marie and her mother feel much better that they were together and Marie and her sister were going to rotate monthly taking care of her until she was better.
